Egg yolk purée ingredients: Egg white purée ingredients:
Egg yolk (about 18g) 1pc Egg white (approx. 32g) 1pc
Black rice 45g Granulated sugar 5g
Rice 15g Fresh lemon juice 5-6 drops
Corn oil 5m
Purified water 45ml

Preparation

Black Rice and Egg Yolk Purée

1. Place the black rice and rice in Baby food chopper, select "Baby Food" function, set the setting to 7 degrees and activate for 90 seconds, then grind to powder and ready for use.

2. Mix the egg yolk, corn oil, pure water and ingredients from step 1 together and set aside.

Egg White Purée

1. Drizzle lemon juice into egg white, add sugar and beat with a whisk until it is solid and smooth.

Osmanthus Black Rice Steamed Cake

1. Pour the egg white batter into the black rice yolk purée, mix well and pour into Stewing cup.

2. Add 700ml water to Stew cup, place it in the appliance, select "Heating" function, set the temperature to 100 degrees and start for 30 minutes. Finished then serve.

Nutritional analysis (per serving): 352.9kcal/1476.4kJ, 11.8g protein, 11.4g fat, 51.7g carbohydrate, 0.1mg vitamin C.

Tips

Sift the finished semi-finished product of Step 1 for a smooth texture.

The Mixing Bowl must be kept free from water and oil when making the cake.
