INGREDIENTS:
300g walnuts | Some sea salt |
90g sugar | 4tsp white sesame seeds |
180ml water |
PREPARATION STEPS:
1. Boil water in Bosch kettle. Set aside.
2. Place walnuts into a bowl, add in some hot water and let the walnuts soak for 2 minutes. Drain the walnuts thoroughly. In a preheated 150℃ oven, bake the walnuts for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Set aside.
3. Put some sugar, water and sea salt in a large saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolved then add in the walnuts and stir constantly to toss and coat the walnuts well. Remove from heat and sprinkle with some white sesame seed.
4. Spread the walnuts evenly on a baking tray with rimmed baking sheet (walnuts do not overlap). Bake for 12 minutes in a preheated 150℃ oven until golden brown.
5. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
