Ingredients
400g mixed berries (blueberry/red mulberry/strawberry) 50g sugar 50g unsalted butter |
Crumble topping 30g unsalted butter (frozen, diced) 60g cake flour 30g sugar |
Garnish Moderate mint leaves, mixed berries and icing sugar |
Method
1. Crumble topping: mix all the ingredients with hand blender until breadcrumb-like consistency, set aside
2. Add unsalted butter and sugar to a frying pan, cook on the induction hob with power level 6 until slightly caramelize, stir in diced strawberries, add blueberries, red mulberries and mint leaves and stir fry for a short while, set aside.
3. Put the caramelized mixed berries into the baking cups and sprinkle with crumble topping
4. Put them into the preheated 7-in-1 micro steam oven and bake with hot air grill 180°C for about 8 minutes until golden brown
5. Garnish with mint, berries and icing sugar
6. Enjoy
Tips: Watch the caramelizing process very closely, otherwise it will turn black in colour and may have a burnt bitter smell
Serve with vanilla ice cream makes it even tastier!
