• 1500g whole chicken | |
• 400g spinach | |
• 40g garlic (chopped) | |
• 15g oregano (chopped) | |
• 30g lemon juice | |
• 30g corn oil | |
• 30g oyster sauce | |
• 2g sesame oil | |
• 3g salt | |
• 2g soy sauce | |
• 5g dark soy sauce | |
• 1g coarse ground black pepper |
Method
1. Wash and pat dry chicken, combine all seasoning in a big mixing bowl and marinate for 1 to 2 hours. Wash the spinach and set aside
2. Put chicken on the wire rack and place inside the oven at level 2, place the glass pan at level 1 and cook with automatic programme P5, set the weight as 1kg, turn the chicken around when the alarm ring
3. Remove the chicken from the wire rack, cook the spinach with the chicken sauce in a microwave safe container at the oven at level 0 with microwave 1000W for 4 to 5 minutes, stir the spinach halfway through the cooking time
4. Serve the roasted chicken with spinach
