1.5kg abalone | 2 tbsp abalone sauce/ oyster sauce |
1 lotus leaf | 1/2 cup water |
Some Chinese ham | Some cornstarch |
Some Chinese mushrooms | 1 tsp dark soy sauce |

PREPARATION STEPS:
1. Wash the abalone, and use the spoon to take out abalone meat and remove liver. Set aside.
2. Soak the Chinese mushrooms until soften and cut into slice. Place in a 100℃ steam oven and steam for about 20 minutes. Set aside.
3. Soak the dried lotus leaves in warm water until soften. Trim the lotus leaf and place on the plate. Returned the cleaned abalone to the shells and arrange on the lotus leaf.
4. Put Chinese ham, mushrooms and ginger on top of each abalone.
5. Place in a 100℃ steam oven and steam for about 12 minutes until cooked.
6. Cook the sauce until thickened and pour on each abalone. Sprinkle with green onions and serves.
